Chief Executive Officer
Tom Galvin is the founder and CEO at Razberi Technologies. As an industry expert in the development of video management software used for the electronic security and surveillance industry, Galvin has more than 25 years of experience and is the inventor of five patents on voice over IP systems, including the Razberi™ ServerSwitch™.
Previously, Galvin served as the executive leader of product management and product development at GVI Security. Prior to GVI, he was the president and founder of NetVideo Consulting where he provided strategic product consulting to manufacturers and software vendors for video surveillance products. Galvin was a product leader responsible for product management and development at General Electric Security and served as vice president of product development at Verint. Galvin started his telecommunications career at MCI Telecom, which is now Verizon, where he was responsible for developing network-based intelligent services. He was also a contributing author for Security Dealer Magazine with a monthly column on network video topics.
Galvin has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and a MBA from the University of Iowa.
Chief Technology Officer
Rich Anderson is the CTO at Razberi Technologies. For more than 20 years, he has held senior management positions in the physical security industry. Currently, Anderson is responsible for all product planning and development for Razberi’s intelligent surveillance appliance product line.
Previously, Anderson served as the owner of Phare Consulting, a national firm founded on helping security companies with acquisitions, branding and messaging, operations, product launches and technical and marketing strategy. Prior to that, Anderson served as the vice president of security product marketing, where he was responsible for the overall security product strategy and security industry marketing for the organization. As the vice president of marketing at General Electric Security Enterprise Group, Anderson represented the Fortune 500 market segment, and began his career in the security industry as the vice president of engineering and then the vice president of marketing for CASI RUSCO, one of the market pioneers in the access control business. Anderson is also a longtime contributing technical editor of Security Technology Executive Magazine.
Anderson has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.
Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
Joe Vitalone is the chief sales and marketing officer worldwide at Razberi Technologies. He has executive responsibility for growing Razberi’s sales revenues as well as expanding the company’s partnerships and distribution channels globally. Vitalone is a seasoned veteran with more than 30 years of sales, marketing, and business development experience in the telecom and security industries. He most recently served as the chief marketing executive at Arrow Systems Integration, a division of Arrow Electronics. Previously, Vitalone was executive vice president and president of Mitel Networks for the Americas region. He has also held executive level positions at ShoreTel, LifeSize, CoVi Technologies, and Polycom. Vitalone holds a Bachelor of Arts, Public Relations from Western Kentucky University and is a guest lecturer at the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business MBA program.
Chief Financial Officer
Richard Roberson is the CFO at Razberi Technologies. He has 30 years of enterprise leadership experience in business and finance.
Roberson’s career has been defined by helping companies through transitional periods by building platforms to sustain growth. These include start-up entities and companies facing accelerated business growth. Roberson has held executive roles in several companies, most recently at Zackat, Inc. and Cenergistic. He began his career in public accounting, and is currently a CPA licensed in Texas.
Roberson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
Vice President of Sales, EMEA
David Watts is the vice president of sales for EMEA for Razberi. He brings more than 22 years of experience in the IP security industry to the management team. Most notably, Watts was on the leadership team at Loronix Information Systems (acquired by Verint Systems) and was central to growing the EMEA business during his 10 years with the business. Watts has grown a number of businesses within the industry in the EMEA region and runs Razberi’s EMEA business out of the UK. The UK team has grown recently to spearhead the growth of Razberi across mainland Europe and into the broader EMEA marketplace.
Director of Sales, Latin America
Mig Paredes is the director of sales for Latin America for Razberi. He has more than 20 years of experience in the security industry with a diverse background in engineering, pre and post sales support, product development and business development. He has provided these functions throughout the Americas regions and leads business for Razberi in Latin America. Mig has worked for industry leaders such as GVISS, ADT and Tyco in various roles. Mig specializes in network video with a knack for making complicated configurations easier to understand for end users, IT professionals and everyone in between. He is a speaker and the author of several articles on the subject of IP security, surveillance and surrounding topics.
Joe Mahfouz is the operations manager at Razberi Technologies. In this role, he is responsible for inventory control, logistics, production, purchasing and overall quality of the company’s products and services.
Before joining Razberi, Mahfouz was a production and logistics manager at Tempest Telecom Solutions, where he established critical product flow identifiers to help reduce turnaround time on equipment from 21 to 12 days, while driving inventory accuracy to 99.84 percent using 5S and lean methodologies. Previously, Mahfouz worked at GENCO ATCLE as an operations supervisor where he was responsible for production calls productivity and quality results. He also helped establish a level two plus certification and repair operation.
Mahfouz has a Six Sigma Green Belt certification and received his Associate of Applied Science in Business Management from Richland College.
